Miser Meritage

“Miser” was conceived as a traditional Bordeaux blend, a more serious and thoughtful cousin to our popular and muscular California Cabernet Sauvignon. We hope you'll agree that the inclusion of 50% Merlot in the blend brings it all together in a satisfying and serious mouthfull of wine. Miser Meritage Tasting Notes

We are enrolled in the Meritage Society as its lowest priced member and proud of it. This is our answer to Opus One, and darn it, our bottle is worth more than their thimble-full!

Miser is the standard bearer for the "CheapSkate" philosophy (Cheapskatewines.com). We firmly believe that American wine lovers deserve high quality without overpricing. We acknowledge our French guru Patrick Ducournau for his suite of élevage techniques which we have incorporated into a winemaking philosophy we call GrapeCraft.
