Cheapskate
CheapSkate is WineSmith’s seriously "second" label. Here we utilize GrapeCraft principles with top grapes from great growers located in unfashionable areas where prices reflect only quality, not hype. This year when we submitted our Miser Meritage ($10) to the S.F. Chronicle Competition (America's largest and most prestigious) in the “Over $35” Bordeaux blend category, we received a Silver Medal! Cheapskate is for winelovers courageous enough to trust their own taste and to enjoy a great wine despite its silly name and bargain price.
